newest painting

This is my latest painting of an older home in the Rothesay area in New Brunswick, Canada. Picture taken by myself just the other week while driving through this area. I love the older homes in the winter, they look so cozy and inviting to go into and curl up beside a fireplace and just enjoy a hot cup of tea. This particular home had a for sale sign up in the yard waiting for a new family to love it and care for it.

I was out for a walk with my camera today after all the snow storms we have had and I took this picture of our old barn while coming up the main road. I think this will be the next painting subject for this week. Love the snowy scenery, the best part of winter! I took some other shots of around here too, some of the bay and the beaches and some of od buildings. I hope to get out more often and take these pictures for further reference pictures to wor off of when it is storming outside and the only thing to do is sit back and relax and paint.
